Nothing like having one of the best stops right at the end of the street! The Whale has great food...Highly recommend Yucatan shrimp taco and the Grouper sandwich. We like to sit up on the upper deck with views of the ocean and activity on the street
Also at end of street is The Doghouse with the best burger and the Cuban is amazing. More of a carry out, but does have some outdoor seating
SOB (Smokin Oyster Brewery) – the Dungeness crab bucket with garlic Yum! Wear the Bib! Messy! Always good music too…usually a bit of a wait to get in though as Very Popular spot.
Salty Crab is a great place to enjoy an afternoon stop! Sit in the sun with a cold drink and your toes in the sand while out on one of their picnic tables. Shrimp Mancini is delish…New Menu to ck out!
Make sure to stop in La’Ola in Times Square for good music and good food! Flatbreads and Nachos are awesome! Pete’s Time Out is another good Times Square stop!

Yucatan Bar & Grill for good music and good food! Boom Boom Shrimp and Cajun Seafood Pasta…YUM! Make sure to ask for extra sauce for the Boom Boom ;)
The Tiki Bar is a fun night time stop! Located at the Lighthouse Inn. Also best place to watch sports! LOTS of TVs! Go during Monday happy hour for free drink tokens to use later in the week. Karaoke nights are always packed!
Enjoy the Intercostal at Matanza’s and watch the boats go by. Great lunch or Happy Hour stop. Matanza’s has the best pizza! Upper deck is more casual, lighter menu. Great evening music too! On lower level can enjoy a nice meal dockside.
The new Snug Harbour restaurant is quickly rising to the top as a Must go. Good food with awesome Intercostal views!
There's Cabanas on the Beach at DiamondHead along with their newer restaurant, Coste. Both very good.
The Cottage/Shuckers is popular day and night! Corn hole on the beach during the day and great music and lots of dancing at night in the Cottage Bar up top. You will find fresh seafood at Shuckers along with a nice breakfast menu
About 1 ½ miles down the beach is Fresh Catch Bistro…One of the nicer restaurants and has great view of the beach!
Over the Causeway and close by are several great stops…Doc Ford’s Rum Bar (Consistantly best food on the Beach...Yucatan Peel and eat is delish!), Dixie Fish Co., Parrot Key, Bootleggers, Bayside Grille, Pincher’s and the Nauti Parrot (Must get the Ahi tuna BLT!)
For Breakfast, Heavenly Biscuit is a popular stop–make sure to try a cinnamon bun! (watch for bees! They love the sweet stuff!) Do expect a long wait though! You can call ahead for carry out.
Other good breakfast stop is Tuck-A-Way Café….great homemade bagel sandwiches and coffees. Mom's, Salty Crab, Pete's Time Out, Shuckers at The Cotttage and don't overlook The DogHouse at end of our street! Great skillet breakfasts and sandwiches.
There’s also some great stops at the South end of the Island …Flippers (on Lovers Key)-GREAT food and atmosphere. Santini Plaza (South end) offers several dining/bar options. Including Fish Tales Waterfront dining which is on the water so can drive a boat up too! Truly Scrumptious for the best Lobster Roll sandwich!
